I would like to know what firm (concession holder) is responsible for managing the CCTV cameras within and in the close surrounding are of Holborn Underground station. I would also like to know who owns the CCTV footage and whether third parties are allowed to access the CCTV footage (for reasons such as pedestrian flow management etc.)

Thank you for your request received by us on 25 November 2019 asking for information about CCTV at Holborn London Underground station.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
what firm (concession holder) is responsible for managing the CCTV cameras within and in the close surrounding are of Holborn Underground station. I would also like to know who owns the CCTV footage and whether third parties are allowed to access the CCTV footage (for reasons such as pedestrian flow management etc.)
I can advise that London Underground is responsible for the cameras at Holborn Underground station and is also the data controller for this system.
The only parties permitted access are customers on receipt of a valid Subject Access Request, and policing agencies.
Analysis of passenger movement such as flow analysis is undertaken in-house, in order to ensure that our station modelling and safety is robust.
