Thank you for your email received by us on 21 March 2017 asking for information about pedestrians casualties.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
1. How many children became victims of "hit and run" in London in 2015 ? There were 327 children (aged 0-15 years) injured in a collision that involved one or more hit and run vehicle in 2015.
2. How many of them died? None of these casualties were fatality injured.
3. How many pedestrians became in conflict with taxis in London in 2015? We can only supply data for taxi and private hire vehicles, not taxi only. There were 353 pedestrians injured by a taxi or private hire vehicles in 2015.
4. How many of them died? Three pedestrians were fatality injured by a taxi or private hire vehicles in 2015.
