1/
Number of 'night tube' passengers who exited underground
station via Meridian Square exits, between the hours of
2am and 5am on a monthly basis, pre pandemic.
Please provide full year data (12 month period)
E.G number of passengers exiting each Friday and Saturday
night, when night tube was in operation on the Central Line.
NB: Only data for exits is required not entries to the station.

Number of 'night bus' passengers who got off at Stratford
Bus Station between the hours of 2am and 5am on a monthly
basis, pre pandemic.
Please provide full year data (12 month period)
E.G number of passengers exiting Monday to Sunday each
month.
NB: Only data for people getting off buses is required, not
those beginning a journey.
The above is to help identify how many members of the
public are potentially affected, by the closure of Stratford
Shopping Centre from 9pm until 5am as a through route
for pedestrians.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 6 February 2022, asking about pre-pandemic passenger data for Stratford Underground Station and Stratford Bus Station.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. You asked for:
1/ Number of 'night tube' passengers who exited underground station via Meridian Square exits, between the hours of 2am and 5am on a monthly basis, pre pandemic. Please provide full year data (12 month period). E.G number of passengers exiting each Friday and Saturday night, when night tube was in operation on the Central Line. NB: Only data for exits is required not entries to the station.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested. We only keep data for less than 2 months at Gate ID level to determine which ticket hall / exit was used at Stratford. Hence, we are unable to provide any pre-pandemic exit figures for Meridian Square. We are only able to provide station level exits. We are only able to accurately report on this data (between 2am and 5am) when a customer boards a bus, not alights. Therefore we do not hold the information you have requested.
