Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 January 2023 asking for information about [summary of request].
Your questions 4-8 have been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I understand that you have received a separate response to the other matters raised. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
How many times within the past 12 months has a hire company submitted an incorrect hire agreement and TfL has acted sensibly and proportionately with the hire company to remedy a human error? If this is never please make this clear.
We do not hold this information.
We base our decisions on transferring liability for a penalty in accordance with the requirements set out in the regulations. If the hire agreement doesn’t meet the standards set out then we cannot transfer liability. Whether the submission of an incorrect agreement is down to human error is not considered and not recorded.
