Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 07 November 2024 asking for information about TfL Apprenticeships.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. 

 

I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. You asked:

 

Does TfL allow EU citizens to take part in their apprenticeship programs or do they not anymore because of Brexit?

 

Apprentice eligibility rules, including right to work and residency requirements, are set by the UK Government in the Apprentice Funding Rules (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apprenticeship-funding-rules) which are updated annually. Where individuals meet these criteria, including EU Citizens, they can undertake an apprenticeship at TfL.
