Whilst bus operators hold their own records in relation to vehicles that have been moved around for maintenance and operational purposes, Transport for London publishes and updates fleet information every six months via our website at: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/bus-fleet-data-and-audits whereby data can be highlighted, transferred to another spreadsheet with the filters added which then enables selection of the relevant routes for the specific vehicle details required.

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.

Please also provide the date of any new introductions/retirements within each period.

The Mayor has set TfL a target of bringing in only hybrid diesel-electric or zero-emission buses from 2018. As part of a faster move towards a cleaner fleet, the Mayor wants buses that go into central London to comply with the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone a year early; 2019 instead of 2020.

Please see the following list for contract renewal dates for each requested bus route:

Route 29 - 10 January 2020
Route 134 - 1 February 2019
Route 214 - 16 August 2019
Route 253 - 5 June 2020
Route 393 - 22 March 2019
Route C2 - 26 April 2019
