There were existing plans to introduce new Countdown signs at the four stops noted in the Equality Impact Assessment (EqIA). There are currently eight southbound bus stops with Countdown signs already installed where passengers would have been able to interchange between routes 259 and 279 – another new Countdown sign at Stop LB was not considered a requirement.
