visitor information centres

Request ID: FOI-2502-1617
Date published: 10 April 2017

You asked

A trial of extended opening hours is taking place at a number of visitor information centres, including Euston, King’s Cross and Heathrow, and possibly also Paddington and Victoria. This has been going on since early February, and is continuing into March. I understand that data relating to the business conducted during the extended hours is being collated and reports completed and sent to Jim Luck, and then on to Evren Altinok I would like to have sight of the reports that have been sent to Jim and Evren relating to the trials in February – and, if they’re available, for March too.

We answered

TfL Ref: 2502-1617

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13 March 2017 asking for copies of the trials into extended opening hours of some visitor information centres.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested as the reports you requested has not been produced at this time. The extended opening hours trial ran until the end of the March and the information is now being collated and recommendations made.

I understand that you have been advised a couple of weeks ago that the outcomes will be shared with Trade Unions via local engagement meetings in due course.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
