Thank you for your email received by us on 19 December 2018 asking for information about Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at Transport for London (TfL) locations.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for;

1 Number of AED on TfL Properties?

There are 214 AED’s located at 151 sites.

2 can you provide a list of locations that have AED where public can access the AED the location of the unit or units and just numbers at location where they are in staff only areas

All AED’s are accessible by the public. Please see the attached map featuring the locations.

3 how does TfL monitor the Pads expiry dates?
4 if no computer system is used how often are the Pads expiry dates checked?

The AED’s are manually checked on a weekly basis by station staff. Computer records are also used for monitoring purposes.

5 When was the last time an AED pad date check done

I can advise that that this was implemented on Sunday 16 December 2018.
