Hopper bus ticket

You asked

On the 13th March 2017 TfL published a press release stating that analysis for the last six showed Bus Route 18 from Sudbury and Harrow Road station to Euston Station via Kensal Green to be the popular bus to 'Hop' on to during February 2017. Please publish the full results from this six weeks analysis. Please also state whether TfL routinely intend to publish data on the use of the Hopper bus ticket on its website, perhaps on a quarterly basis, of whether it intends to just release information through press releases?

Thank you for your email received on 13 March 2017 asking for information about the Hopper facility.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

 

Please find attached a spreadsheet showing the popular bus routes to 'Hop' on to during February 2017. This was a one-off piece of analysis and has not been carried out on other periods of time.

 

We do not intend to routinely publish data on the use of the Hopper bus ticket on our website, due to the amount of work required to extract this data. We will release information through press releases where there is information to relay.
