Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 25 February 2017 asking for information about how much the average FOI request costs TfL to answer.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold of the information you require.

 

The most recent information we hold is that in 2013/14,  2,648 FOI requests were received. It is estimated that it costs approximately £1.1m a year to answer these requests.
