Extra compensation for bridge works
Request ID: FOI-2449-1718
Date published: 12 December 2017
You asked
Woodgrove Park Management Co Ltd was paid compensation in October 2014 for bridge works by TFL. There was a clause in the agreement for added compensation should the works be delayed. The works have been delayed and I would like to know the amount of additional compensation paid to the management company (Woodgrove Park Managment Co Ltd) and therefore the owners of the 27 flats in Harold Wood, Essex

TfL Ref: 2449-1718 and 2477-1718
Thank you for your two similar requests received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26 and 29 November respectively asking for information about Ardleigh Bridge works and compensation paid out. Further to my email of 29 November, we have combined your two similar requests and this response constitutes our reply to both.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
The agreement signed in October 2014 provided that the sum of £2700 per month should be paid by TfL for the benefit of leaseholders should the works last more than two years. This payment was to be through the freeholder Proxima GR properties (managed by Estates and Management) to the management company (Woodgrove Park Management Co Ltd) who have contracted with Rynew to manage the estate. The money should therefore be transferred from Estates and Management to Rynew. So far TfL has paid £37,800 to Estates and Management for this purpose.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
