Performance Related Pay Rating Distributions

Please can you provide two separate tables detailing the percentage distributions for staff performance ratings, i.e the percentage of staff that fall into each of the five performance rating bands for: 1. London Underground Performance Related Pay (PRP) 2. Transport for London Pay for Performance (PfP)? These data should be for the last five years with the most recent being the most recent complete review cycle.

Thank you for your web request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7 March 2017 asking for information about staff performance ratings.


Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.


Please find attached the results requested. Please note ‘Pay for Performance’ was introduced in 2015/16, prior to that Performance Related Pay existed for eligible employees across LU and TfL.


N/A indicates employees who moved positions to an eligible grade too late in the year to have a review, or where no review score was entered on the system by the line manager.
