Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 4th October 2023 asking for information about bus journey times in the neighbouring area of Fox Lane Quieter Neighbourhood scheme.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:
Please can you release the following information and please consider this as a Freedom of Information Request:
  • Any reports or correspondence received from or between TfL and Enfield Council between June 2022 and August 2023 about the impacts of bus journey times in relation to the Fox Lane Quieter Neighbourhood scheme on bus routes neighbouring the scheme.
  • Any reports in relation to bus transport prepared for TFL or Enfield Council in relation to the Fox Lane Quieter Neighbourhood scheme since April 2022

I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.

In answer to your first two questions, having liaised with relevant teams I can confirm that no such correspondence or reports are held by TfL. That said, note that local boroughs are required to carry out monitoring of the impacts of their Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs), and Enfield Council have produced a monitoring report for their Fox Lane LTN. This report can be found on the Enfield Council website via the following link:

In answer to your last two questions, please see the spreadsheets in the folder attached. This shows departure times from each stop in both directions for each of routes 121, 298, 299, 329, W6 and W9. Any trips that were not recorded by our iBus system are marked with either ‘Operated’ or ‘Lost’ labels. The data set covers the whole of November 2022. Note that you may need to expand the width of some columns to see the data in full.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
