TfL Ref: FOI-2401-2425
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 27th October 2024 asking for a copy of the Lord Mayor's Show 2024 poster.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“I have lived in London for 27 years and have never seen a more breathtaking, stunning and artistic poster to the one you have commissioned for the Lord Mayor's show this year. I was at awe at Balham tube station, staring at the drawings of our guardian giants Gog and Magog!
Every year my partner and I wake up at dawn, head for Guildhall to catch the rehearsal, and of course we are there for the big parade too!
I would be so grateful if you make 2024 a year to remember if you could keep for me one of those amazing posters to frame. I can come and get it myself, just tell me where and when!”.
Please note, the Freedom of Information Act covers the provision of recorded information, rather than assets such as hard-copies of posters. That said, I am afraid that TfL does not hold a digital copy of this poster either as it was produced by the City Mayor of London. I can only suggest, therefore, that you redirect your request to that body. You can contact the City of London Corporation via its website here:

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely,
