Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20th January 2022 asking for a copy of the document “New Bus for London briefing paper for DFT/VCA/VOSA Operational Practices and Certification”.

Specifically you asked:

It is believed the document is dated around 2010 as seen on the news report (time 1:10) in the video?
I have been in liaison with both our Buses and Corporate Archives teams who have carried out searches of their records but neither team have been able to locate such a document. I can only conclude, therefore, that TfL does not hold the requested information. I notice that “DFT” appears in the title, and so you may wish to ask the Department for Transport (DfT) to see if they have retained a copy. FOI requests to the DfT can be made via its website here:
