Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Can you please confirm how much money is set aside for operational staff in CPOS for collective pay awards /deals in 2018/19 & 2019/20.

Following negotiations with the recognised trade union who represents operational staff, the 2018/19 pay deal for Revenue Protection Inspectors (RPI) and Road and Transport Enforcement Officers (RTEO) was implemented last year as part of a 3 year deal covering 2016/17-2018/19. Taxi and Private Hire Compliance Officers (TPHCO) were exempt from this pay deal. These terms were communicated to all relevant staff on 20 September 2017.

The agreement was a non-consolidated award of £350 for years one and two (2016/17, 2017/18) and a 1 per cent consolidated uplift for all staff in scope for the final year (2018/19).

The pay deal for all operational staff (RPIs, RTEOs and TPHCOs) for 2019/20 is currently subject to negotiations with the trade union, therefore we do not hold the information requested.
