TfL is committed to keeping London’s roads as clear as possible to prevent unnecessary disruption to journeys and help tackle congestion and poor air quality. We take the overrunning of streetworks extremely seriously as these actions prevent us from coordinating roadworks effectively. We will continue to push for the toughest penalties possible against those companies whose roadworks overrun.
