Could I please know how many 18+ Student Travelcards are currently in use?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 6 November 2019 asking for information about 18+ Student Travelcards.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

We have assumed that you are asking how many 18+ Student Oyster photocards are currently in use. The photocard itself is not a Travelcard, however a Travelcard is a product that can be purchased and loaded onto a photocard.

An 18+ Student Oyster photocard gives 30% off adult rate Travelcards.

Currently there are 222,245 active 18+ Student Oyster photocards.
