Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Your questions and our replies are as follows:

How many passenger carry by London Underground at match days different from normal days ?
We see around 3m London Underground journeys on a typical Saturday. During the football season this will include many tens of thousands of fans attending matches at several stadiums across the city. The precise number will depend on the number of matches being played and the stadiums involved.
I mean that do you do any different operation on your line on match days for fan?
Some stations near key stadiums may operate differently, with measures in place such as:
Enhanced staffing
Enhanced congestion management regimes (e.g. one way systems, signage)
For some lines near key stadiums, we also may put revised timetables into place to predominately help with egress.
How many fans and passengers do you carry on match days?
Approximately 60 – 80 per cent of those attending football matches are arriving to the stadiums by London Underground.
