Thank you for your email received by us on 17 February 2021 asking for information about whether there was a road closure on St George's Road in Wimbledon, south west London, during 3 November 2020.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.  You asked:

if there was a road closure of St George's Rd in Wimbledon on the 3rd of November 2020 just before 3pm,the road was apparently closed due to an incident and I am not requesting information on the incident just clarification that the road was indeed closed, as this would have affected bus routes/timetables I believe this information would have been recorded by yourselves.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested as we have no record of a road closure in the area. However, please note that this does not mean that an incident did not occur here.

We can advise that our system would not have recorded it if there was no impact on the adjacent A219 strategic road, which we would have been monitoring and managing as part of our responsibility as Transport for London.
