Dear TFL,
Please can you tell me how much money has TFL given Tower Hamlets Council towards its low traffic neighborhood schemes so far? And, is there further funding coming and if so, how much and when?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 February 2021 asking for information about funding given to Tower Hamlets Council towards its low traffic neighbourhood schemes.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked: Please can you tell me how much money has TFL given Tower Hamlets Council towards its low traffic neighbourhood schemes so far? And, is there further funding coming and if so, how much and when?
Transport for London allocated a maximum commitment of £52,175 to Tower Hamlets for the delivery of Low Traffic Neighbourhood schemes during the first phase of the London Streetspace Programme (May-October 2020), and a further commitment to £417,830 under Tranche 2 of the DfT Active Travel Fund, making a total of £470,005. As the borough will claim for funding in arrears in August 2021 based on the actual cost of scheme delivery, none of this funding can be said to have been ‘given’ to the borough at the time of writing.
