Hello, I would like to request information relating to docking stations outside the current scheme boundary.
1. I note that TfL has received planning permission from the London borough of Wandsworth for a docking station near Clapham South station. What other locations have plans been drawn up for new docking stations outside the scheme area (not including recent ones which have already been installed)? Please state whether or not an application for planning permission has yet been made.
2. Please provide any assessments made (or consideration given) relating to proposals for new areas or specific sites for docking stations outside the current scheme area.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 January 2022 asking for information about TfL Cycle Hire new docking stations. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. Your questions and our replies are as follows:
I would like to request information relating to docking stations outside the current scheme boundary.
I note that TfL has received planning permission from the London borough of Wandsworth for a docking station near Clapham South station. What other locations have plans been drawn up for new docking stations outside the scheme area (not including recent ones which have already been installed)? Please state whether or not an application for planning permission has yet been made.
We did make a planning application for a site near Clapham South in 2019, which was approved. However, the planning conditions that were imposed, along with the site constraints means that this site is not likely to be progressed. There are no plans for any docking stations outside of the scheme area. However, the following locations on the edge of the scheme boundary have plans drawn up and planning permission applied for; Harris Academy, Southwark Park Road Brandon Street Clements Road The Blue, 246-256 Southwark Park Road South Bermondsey Station, Ilderton Road Burgess Park, Albany Road/Camberwell Road
