Total number of staff including non permanent staff.
Breakdown of staff (as a whole and by departments) for the following areas:
by ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and disability.
Full list of diversity information that is captured on the HR self service system for example Gender Identity (Woman / Man / Non Binary/ Prefer Not to Say). Can you please provide this breakdown for the following areas:
gender identity, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, disability and carer status. I just want to see what options the staff can choose from.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 December 2022 asking for information about the diversity of staff.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
Total number of staff including non permanent staff.
We currently have 25,810 permanent staff, and 1,986 non-permanent staff.
Breakdown of staff (as a whole and by departments) for the following areas: by ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and disability.
Please see the attached spreadsheet ‘FOI-2353’. We do not collect the personal characteristics for non-permanent staff, so the information provided is for permanent staff only.
