Dear Crossrail Limited, To help understand the depth of Train Describer (TD) data, published through the Network Rail Open Data platform, I request configuration files for the Train Describer covering the Crossrail COS signalling area (TD.net Area ID 'Q0'). Specifically, the scope of my request is limited to any files which define the following: - S-Class bit allocations, the definitions mapping bits to signalling identities. - TD berth stepping rules, the detailed definitions of what causes a description to step between berths. - TD berth layout block schematics. Please note I am not asking for any information relating to the LWOD line-wide overview display.

Thank you for your request received by us on 16 February 2021 asking for information about the Crossrail network in relation to its Central Operating Section (COS).

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

configuration files for the Train Describer covering the Crossrail COS signalling area (TD.net Area ID 'Q0').

Specifically, the scope of my request is limited to any files which define the following:
- S-Class bit allocations, the definitions mapping bits to signalling identities.
- TD berth stepping rules, the detailed definitions of what causes a description to step between berths.
- TD berth layout block schematics.
