In light of CAF being awarded the tender for Rolling Stock Replacement, can you advise the intentions for B90/B92/B2K stock vehicles?
The manufacturer of the new rolling stock, CAF, are contracted to dispose of the B90/B92/B2K stock.
Historically P86/P89 vehicles were sold to Essen Stadtbahn, are there any intentions to transfer the B90/92/2K vehicles to any operator?
There are currently no plans to transfer these to any other operator.
Are there plans to preserve any of the vehicles at the London Transport Museum?
At the present time, no discussions have been held regarding preserving any vehicles at London Transport Museum but in principle there is nothing to prevent this happening should a request be received.
Could you please provide dates for when each vehicle (1-99) is planned to be removed from service?
The vehicles are scheduled to be retired from DLR service between early 2024 and late 2025. The detailed schedule for when each specific vehicle (by registration number) has not yet been developed.
