TfL Ref: FOI-2313-2122
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12 January 2022.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
Please may you attach the River Pier and Croydon Tramlink entries and exit statistics for 2020/21.
We don't hold entry and exit statistics for Trams and London River Services because they are un-gated with no ticket barriers.
Whilst we have passenger number data for TfL owned Piers, they are not specified by entry and exit. TfL owns and operates eight of the key Piers on the Thames. Below are the total passenger numbers for TfL’s Piers for the financial years 2019/20 and 2020/21. In each case P1 represents the 1 April and four weeks thereafter, and so on.
You will note that some periods do not contain any data. These were periods when no river services were operating due to Covid restrictions at the time. We do not hold passenger number data for piers that we do not own.
For Trams, we collate ticketing data where customers validate, which is shown in the table below;
