You asked
the Oceandiva consortium has now issued press releases that are being printed widely. These articles say that a charging station is being installed at various piers for the Oceandiva as well as facilities for pumping out blackwater. I attach copies of the pages.
Can you confirm now if
1. TFL has made any arrangements with the Oceandiva for disembarking passengers at any TFL piers from 2am till 3.30am seven days a week?
2. If so, for which piers?
3. If so, are there are any restrictions on the usage of the TFL piers?
4. Would the Oceandiva be permitted to hold static events at the piers?
5. Would the Oceandiva be permitted to overnight at the piers?
6. Has TFL agreed to the installation of a charging platforms at any TFL piers as per the attached article?
7. Has TLF agreed to the pumping out of blackwater any TFL piers as per the attached article?
The maps in these articles are very unclear – we cannot tell if the stations refer to Tower Millennium Pier (which seems to be City of London but is in fact Tower Hamlets), or one of the Woods private piers (I am checking with them too). We don’t know which pier is ‘Chelsea’.
But it would be a great help to know if TFL has entered into arrangements with the Oceandiva Consortium (including NZMS, Oceandiva London Shipping Ltd, or any of the other 18 Dwan companies)?

Our Ref: FOI-2308-2223
Thank you for your request received on 13 December 2022 asking for information about Oceandiva charging stations and blackwater pumping at piers in the City of London and Chelsea.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:
Can you confirm now if:

No such arrangements have been made. We are yet to see the vessel in London therefore we have not granted a licence for the vessel to use our piers and no operational commitments have been agreed.
If a charter licence is granted and all safety and operational concerns are satisfied, operators are then permitted to book any available timeslots to use a charter berth at our piers.
3. Would the Oceandiva be permitted to hold static events at the piers?
The charter licence does not permit static events on piers. This would be discussed on a case by case basis.
4. Would the Oceandiva be permitted to overnight at the piers?
The charter licence does not permit overnights on piers. This would be discussed on a case by case basis.
5. Has TFL agreed to the installation of a charging platforms at any TFL piers as per the attached article? 6. If so, are there are any restrictions on the usage of the TFL piers?
This has neither been discussed or agreed. We have no plans to install charging stations on our piers at present.
7. Has TLF agreed to the pumping out of blackwater any TFL piers as per the attached article?
This has neither been discussed or agreed for the Oceandiva.
