Thank you for your request received by us on 11 February 2021 asking for information about Transport for London’s (TfL) contract for Lone Worker Protection Services.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

details in respect to the contract below.

We would like to advise that the above contract stated in your request referenced under contract number ‘tfl_scp_001589’ has been terminated and replaced by a new contract: ‘tfl_scp_001908’. Consequently, we shall be responding in accordance with the latter agreement.

The details we require are:

• Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and were successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages

The Crown Commercial Services G-Cloud Framework was used to shortlist suppliers and therefore there was no Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) stage. Only one supplier met the requirements and was shortlisted; this being Orbis Protect Ltd.

• Actual spend on this contract/framework (and any sub lots), from the start of the contract to the current date

£87,000.

• Start date & duration of framework

The start date was 27 January 2020 and the expiry date is 27 January 2022.

• Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension?

There is an option to extend for a further two years.

• Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?

No decision has been made yet on the future of this contract. 

• Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract an what is their job title?

Bhavita Lachani, Operational Technology Business Manager in Compliance, Policing, Operations and Security (CPOS).
