Could I please request details of when the New Bermondsey station is likely to be built and opened, in light of the government's award of Housing Infrastructure Fund funding?

Thank you for your request of 30^th October 2019 asking for information about New Bermondsey station.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

“Could I please request details of when the New Bermondsey station is likely to be built and opened, in light of the government's award of Housing Infrastructure Fund funding?”.

There is, as yet, no specific date for the building/opening of this station as we have yet to complete the planning of the programme for delivery, including negotiation of the terms and conditions of the funding agreement with the government for the recently announced HIF funding award. Once there is an agreed programme we will share this with interested parties.
