Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 27 September 2023 asking for information about CCTV cameras at London Underground stations.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. You asked for:
the number of CCTV cameras in each London tube station in 2001 and 2011 (data in 2001 and data in 2011) for our important ongoing project.
You are an authority on public transportation. I appreciate it if you could provide this data to me with policy permissions or give advice on the possible methods to achieve this data.
Whilst Transport for London has CCTV systems at all 270 stations that are London Underground owned, unfortunately we do not hold a station by station breakdown for the years requested.
