You asked

And another unplanned roadworks took place on this road. You have not explained why on any of the other occasions why you are bypassing the systems in place with regards to notifying the works that are carried out. Also note that the street light STILL has not been repaired (0536000005796) after a member of your staff tampered with it. I am now asking for all the detailed information of all Roadworks carried out on the A232 – Duppas Hill Road that have been carried out this year, this is a Freedom of information request that you now have 20 working days to respond to from 15th December 2020 or the matter will be passed onto the ICO as another failure to comply.

Your request has now been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Please find attached a spreadsheet showing all the roadworks carried out on Duppas Hill Road in 2020.  When emergency works are required, it is not possible to notify residents in advance of the works taking place.

I have also been advised that the street light fault that you refer to was fixed on 5 January 2021.
