Our ref: FOI-2273-1617
Thank you for your email received on 19 February 2017 asking for information about charity collectors.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
However, I can confirm that we do not hold the information you require. We have a commercial arrangement with JCDecaux for the advertising and promotional activity, including charitable collections, which occur on TfL property. JCDecaux pays TfL a minimum guarantee for the concession and then a share of any additional revenue.
The commercial arrangement it is between the applicant, in this instance the charity, and JCDecaux, rather than directly with TfL, and we do not hold the details of the amounts paid by specific companies or charities.
You have specifically mentioned London Bridge, and it may therefore be worth noting that TfL is only responsible for London Bridge Underground Station. If the activity you are referring to was at the overground station, you may wish to refer your request to Network Rail, the organisation responsible for the station.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
