I'm trying to find out how many BEV's are registered with TfL for private hire, and what the largest fleet registered with a company is. I don't need to know the company, I'm more interested in the amount.

Thank you for your request received by us on 22 October 2019 asking for information about Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked:

How many BEV's are registered with TfL for private hire, and what the largest fleet registered with a company is. I don't need to know the company, I'm more interested in the amount.

As of 5 November 2019, our records show that we have 745 battery powered electric / pure electric licensed private hire vehicles. The largest individual fleet of these vehicles consists of 121 vehicles.
