Segregated cycle lanes in Camden Council's West End Project

Request ID: FOI-2270-1617
Date published: 14 March 2017

You asked

Dear Sir/Madam In the West End Project which Camden Council is embarking upon, it appears on this information page (https://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/transport-and-streets/transport-strategies/west-end-project.en?page=6) that segregated cycle lanes will be put in place on Tottenham Court Road and/or Gower Street. Are these segregated cycle lanes being integrated into the larger 'Cycle Superhighway' network which Transport for London has been creating?

We answered

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

There are currently no plans to include the segregated cycle routes planned on Tottenham Court Road and/or Gower Street in the Cycle Superhighway Network.  Information on existing and planned Cycle Superhighways is available on the TfL website: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/cycling/routes-and-maps/cycle-superhighways
