Thank you for your request received on 7 December 2022 asking for information about private hire vehicles (PHVs).
Your request will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
The information you have requested is contained within the attached spreadsheet. All vehicles are licensed in London by Transport for London.
However, please note that taxi and private hire vehicles are licensed on an annual basis and where there is a period of relicensing some data in the vehicle records are overwritten to reflect the new licence. Therefore, the information provided in the accompanying attachment is a snapshot of all licensed taxi and private hire vehicles as of 22 November 2022.
