TfL Ref: FOI-2259-2122

Route 456 was introduced in March 2021 in place of route W10. While the routeing of the 456 is the same as route W10 between Enfield Town and Crews Hill, it provides new links to key destinations such as North Middlesex Hospital and Winchmore Hill Station. It is also more frequent, has longer hours of operation and has a new Sunday service.

The new route was numbered 456 to distinguish the new service – with its higher frequency, longer hours of operation and new links - from its predecessor.
