I recently submitted an FOI to Islington Borough Council to access data (reference number xxxxxxxx) but they referred me to TFL as the holder of relevant data.
Hi there,
I would like to obtain highstreet footfall data for specific areas in the London borough of Islington;
Some roads in particular I'm interested in is; A503 Seven Sister Road, around Finsbury park station and/or Hornsey Road A503 and/or Holloway Road A1
Timeframes for the data are the following;
Pre Covid during the football season September 2018- May 2019
During Covid September 2020- May 2021
Post Covid September 2022- Current day
If you don't have highstreet footfall data or those specific locations or time frames, please let me know the closest measure/location/time as other data may still be relevant.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2nd December 2022 asking for footfall data for several roads in Islington. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

The only potentially relevant pedestrian data we hold is for Holloway Road near the station. These surveys were carried out in June and July 2019. The data is attached in case it is of interest to you.
