At the TFL board meeting in March 2016 a question was asked, HMRC treats uber bookings as taking place abroad but TFL treats them as taken in London,the response was that TFL will write to board members, can you supply me with that written response

Thank you for your email received by us on 12 February 2017 asking for information about the TfL Board. I apologise for the delay in replying to you.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. You asked:

 

At the TFL board meeting in March 2016a question was asked, HMRC treats Uber bookings as taking place abroad but TFL treats them as taken in London, the response was that TFL will write to board members. Can you supply me with that written response?

 

TfL does not hold the information requested. Board Members were not written to about this question after the meeting of the Board in March 2016. TfL had previously written to HMRC concerning Uber and tax issues and there was no further update that could be provided to the Board.
