Thank you for your request received by us on 31 January 2021 asking for information about whether Transport for London (TfL) uses Microsoft PowerApps.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked:
does TFL use Microsoft PowerApps and if so how do they use it, for what purpose.
I can advise that TfL uses Microsoft PowerApps for a variety of small business applications of low complexity that need to be developed quickly. Examples of PowerApps applications include the following:
• Staff Pass Request system.
• London Underground Station familiarisation form.
• Remote working staff hardware requirements capture form.
