Our ref: FOI-2208-1920

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 October 2019 asking for information about New North Road N1 7BJ.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.

The Zebra crossing outside 192 New North Road N1 7BJ, how many pedestrian accidents have there been in last 10years?

The London Collision Map provides information on collisions in specific areas and can be filtered to identify collisions by vehicle type and the severity of injuries:  https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/safety-and-security/road-safety/london-collision-map

However, I can advise that there have been 16 collisions and 16 casualties around the zebra crossing area, only one casualty was a pedestrian conflicted with taxi in 2015.

How long has the Zebra been located there,

Transport for London (TfL) is responsible for the red routes throughout London. New North Road is not a red route and therefore we do not hold information on how long this crossing has been here.

How many car accidents has been caused a the Zebra junction with Canonbury Yard

There have been 16 cars involved in 13 collisions for this area.

what is the increase in time Route 271 from Moorgate to Highgate since the junctions Old Street, Highbury Corner, Archway were so called improved?

The attached spreadsheet shows the daily minimum, maximum and average scheduled and actual route 271 running times between the first and the last stops in each direction.

The data available is between 27/05/2017 and 18/10/2019.

The “Trips” column indicates how many trips actually ran between the first and the last stops during the day.

Low trip counts mean that only a small number of trips were recorded at the first and the last stops. This usually happens if the stops are not in use or some trips are curtailed.

The Running Times provided are in minutes.

During the service day different trips may have different scheduled running times end to end. E.g. early in the morning buses are scheduled to run faster than at peak times.
