You asked
According to your response to a request dated 7th August 2015 reference FOI-0838-1516:
"2) The total number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued for breaches of the LEZ by UK and foreign-registered vehicles from January 2014 to date.
As of 26 August 2015, we have issued a total of 69,242 PCNs to vehicles seen contravening the LEZ between 1 January 2014 and 30 June 2015. 47,654 of these PCNs were issued to UK registered vehicles and 21,588 were issued to vehicles registered outside the UK.
3) The total monetary value of PCNs issued for breaches of the LEZ by UK and foreign- registered vehicles in this period.
The value of the above PCNs issued to UK registered vehicles is £38,760,000. The value of the above PCNs issued to vehicles registered outside the UK is £21,568,000."
The information I would like you to supply me with is:
1) The number of vehicles were caught contravening the LEZ from 1st July 2015 to the 1st July 2018.
2) The monetary value of all PCNs issued for breaches of the LEZ during the above time period.
3) An account of where these monies were used by Transport for London.

Your request has been processed in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you requested. You asked for:
1) The number of vehicles were caught contravening the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) from 1st July 2015 to the 1st July 2018.
2) The monetary value of all PCNs issued for breaches of the LEZ during the above time period.
3) An account of where these monies were used by Transport for London.
We only hold the information the information requested from 1 October 2016.
The table below details the number of LEZ PCNs issued from 1 October 2016 to 18 November 2018 along with the monetary value of the penalties issued. This is not the value of payments received, but the amount payable when the penalties were issued.

We do not record specifically where net income from LEZ is spent. However all the money raised from the LEZ is put back into transport services within London.
