I am not looking for a detailed breakdown of costs, only to understand what is involved (construction start time, installation time, testing time, opening time) in installing a lift system to a six platform station with step up and over entrances on both sides of the railway lines, served by many bus routes.

Three lifts will be constructed to take the public from Ticket hall Level to platform level, one lift will be located on each island platform (1/2, 3/4 and 5/6), as shown in figure 1 below. The project also includes a fourth lift that will be built at the northern entrance to the station.

The total build cost (including plant, material and equipment) is £4.6M
