TfL Ref: FOI-2204-1920
Thank you for your further email of 22nd October 2019 asking for information about the provision of countdown signs at bus stops.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

TfL does nto hold the exact information requested as we do not own/manage the bus shelters in question. Generally speaking, once it has been confirmed that the shelter is powered up and ready for Countdown, it usually takes the contractors a couple of weeks to put the sign back, depending on the workload and availability of their engineers. However, for the precise timescales regarding the works for the shelters cited in your request you will need to contact the local borough as they own and manage these shelters and are responsible for the associated works (in conjunction with JC DeCaux, the responsible private contractor).
