Thank you for your request received on 22 October 2019 asking for information about whether TfL has paid medical bills for people injured in collisions with Uber private hire vehicles.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

I can confirm that TfL do not pay medical bills for any person(s) injured in an accident or collision involving a private hire vehicle. We have not made any past payments and have no plans to pay for any future costs.
