- The number of light goods vehicles that have been issued a PCN since the fines were introduced
Any vehicle which is registered with the DVLA as being more than two metres (6'6") high and two metres (6'6") wide or goods vehicles weighing more than two tonnes (gross vehicle weight) are not safe to travel through the Rotherhithe Tunnel; we do not differentiate between vehicles i.e. HGVs and LGVs.
The below table details the amount of penalty fare notices (PCNs) we issued to drivers whose vehicles were observed by our cameras on the northbound and southbound Rotherhithe Tunnel approaches which exceeded the width and weight restriction from 1 August 2019 – 31 January 2021.
