Please provide a list of organisations, websites or mobile applications that have been prevented from paying congestion charge fees on behalf of drivers since the legislation was updated to give TFL the power to reject such payments from unauthorised third party providers. Please provide a list of any organisations that are officially authorised to process congestion charge payments on behalf of their customers.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 29th January 2021 asking for information about payment of the congestion charge.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

Please provide a list of organisations, websites or mobile applications that have been prevented from paying congestion charge fees on behalf of drivers since the legislation was updated to give TFL the power to reject such payments from unauthorised third party providers.

Please provide a list of any organisations that are officially authorised to process congestion charge payments on behalf of their customers.”

In relation to your first question, TfL has not blocked any organisations, websites or mobile applications from paying the Congestion Charge. In relation to your second question, there are no authorised or endorsed organisations so we do not hold such a list.
