Footfall in Croydon and Brixton stations since 2002

You asked
Hi,
I am currently doing research for my dissertation which is on regeneration in both Croydon and Brixton. I was therefore wondering if there are records of the footfall of both station spanning a 15 year period (or as much as you have). in order to see if the regeneration within the area has affected the amount of people coming into the area. As well as, just the sheer number of people who have used the station in previous years, the method of payment for travel would also be useful. (i.e. travel card, ticket, oyster card) however, I understand you may not have these records and will be grateful for any information you are able to provide me with.
Many Thanks

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 6 November 2017 asking for information about footfall at Brixton and Croydon stations.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
Ticket type data is only held for a period of 8 weeks, and therefore we do not hold the 15 years of data you have requested.
London Underground passenger information for Brixton can be found on our website here:
