TfL Ref: EIR-2170-2324 Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20th September 2023 asking for information about the ULEZ scheme. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and our information access policy. In answer to your first question (how many had to pay the charge) this is published in the First Month Report for the recent ULEZ expansion, a copy of which can be found on our website here:
Note that we do not record the make and model of a vehicle paying the charge or where it was captured, and hence we do not hold the information for that part of the question For your second set of questions (how many vehicles did not have to pay the charge etc.), we do not hold this information. Not having to pay the charge means the vehicle is compliant or exempt. When a compliant or exempt vehicle is observed in the zone we do not retain a record of that vehicle being in the zone as we have no reason to retain it.
