You asked
Dear Transport for London,
Please could you provide me with any emails, reports or surveys that provide an explanation as to why in 2017 a banned turn from A1 (Northbound) into Islington Park Street and a no entry from Canonbury Lane into Islington Park Street was introduced for night-time only?
Could you please also provide the number of penalty notices issued for breach of these restrictions for the years 2021, 2020 and 2019?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19 December 2021 asking for information about a banned turn from the A1 (Northbound) into Islington Park Street and a no entry from Canonbury Lane into Islington Park Street. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked: Please could you provide me with any emails, reports or surveys that provide an explanation as to why in 2017 a banned turn from A1 (Northbound) into Islington Park Street and a no entry from Canonbury Lane into Islington Park Street was introduced for night-time only? We do not hold the information you have requested. This is because these roads fall under the London Borough of Islington (with exception of the A1) and the traffic order and restriction is on the Borough road itself and not the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN). As such, the traffic order would have been made by the Borough and is enforced by the Borough.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
